- Pages viewed, time on page, and links clicked
- Course progress, lessons completed, and login activity within the course platform
- Cookie and similar tracking data (see Section 6)

**Information from social media**

If you comment on our Instagram posts, our automation may create a contact record containing your Instagram display name and the content of your comment, and may send you an automated direct message. If you reply to that message, your responses are stored in our customer relationship management system. You can stop receiving these messages by replying to ask us to stop, or by blocking the account.

We do not collect your Instagram password or access your private account content.

**What we do not collect**

We do not knowingly collect protected health information about your patients. Do not send us patient identifiers, records, or images through any of our contact channels. If you do, we may delete it.

## 3. How we use your information

- To deliver the course you purchased and grant platform access
- To process payments and issue receipts
- To send transactional messages about your purchase and access
- To provide customer support
- To send marketing emails about our courses and offerings, where you have opted in or where permitted by law
- To improve our website, course content, and marketing
- To detect and prevent fraud, credential sharing, and unauthorized access
- To comply with legal obligations

## 4. Legal bases for processing (UK and EU users)

Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on:

- **Contract**: to deliver the course you purchased and provide support
- **Legitimate interests**: to improve our offerings, secure our platform, and prevent fraud
- **Consent**: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time
- **Legal obligation**: for tax and accounting records

## 5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf:

- **Stripe** for payment processing
- **HighLevel** for our course platform, customer relationship management, email, and marketing automation
- **Showit** for website hosting
- **Meta Platforms** in connection with Instagram and Facebook messaging and advertising

Each of these processes data under its own privacy terms. We share only what is needed for them to perform their function.

We may also disclose information where required by law, in response to a valid legal request, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

## 6. Cookies and tracking

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your session, understand traffic, and measure marketing performance. This may include Meta and other advertising pixels.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality, including checkout and course access.

## 7. International transfers

We operate in the United States, and our service providers store and process data in the United States and elsewhere. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism through our service providers.

## 8. How long we keep information

- Purchase and transaction records: at least seven years, for tax and accounting purposes
- Course account and progress data: for as long as your access remains active
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again
- Website analytics: typically 26 months or less

## 9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
- Opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information

To exercise any of these, email liz@drlizturner.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity first.

Deleting your account data may end your course access, and no refund is issued in that case.

**Colorado residents** have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and to appeal a denied request. To appeal, reply to our response and we will review it.

**UK and EU residents** may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

## 10. Marketing communications

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional messages about a course you purchased.

If you gave us your phone number and opted into text messages, reply STOP to end them.

## 11. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, and our payment processing and course platform providers maintain their own security programs. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.

## 12. Children

Our website and courses are intended for licensed professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

## 13. Third-party links

Our site and course materials may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

## 14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on our site.
